Upon studying Pilates I instantly recognised that there was a great depth to the mind-body approach to exercise and so I began my long evolution from mainstream training to various mind-body concepts.
My Pilates Foundation teachers were trained in Pilates by Alan Herdman, who originally brought the concept to London from New York in the mid 1970s.
My latest training is in TRE (trauma release exercises) which I use with PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) survivors. My Pilates training continues with the Pilates Foundation UK and Balanced Body University. I took specialised pregnancy Pilates training approved by the National Childbirth Trust. I’m qualified with the College of Elemental Chi Kung after a 4 year training and am a Reiki Master.
I am accredited and insured with the Complementary Therapists Association.
